# Appointments

> Book appointments in Sigma HMIS Front Desk, confirm, cancel, or mark them as no-show, and start the visit from the appointment when the client arrives.

Appointments in Front Desk let reception book clients ahead of time and start the visit from the booking when the client arrives.

    Choose **New appointment** and enter the booking details.

    Confirm the appointment, cancel it, or mark it as no-show.

    When the client arrives, start the visit from the appointment.
